Stress is not a single quantity but a network of neuroendocrine, immunological and metabolic processes — controlled, among other things, via the HPA axis, inflammatory signalling pathways and mitochondrial adaptations. Six microRNAs are analysed: small, non-coding RNA molecules that help determine which genes are actually read under stress conditions.

The process
Dried blood spot card, fingertip. Six microRNAs, normalised to the reference gene miR-24-3p. No fasting required.

Targeted recommendations on plant-derived bioactive compounds and follow-up monitoring over time.
Both evaluations and all six individual markers run on the scale from 1 to 9. Higher is always better: 1–3 red, 4–6 amber, 7–9 green. Each of the two evaluations additionally carries its own zone labelling.

Evaluation 01
Composed of the acute and the chronic stress indicator (let-7a-5p, let-7g-5p).
The evaluation shows where your current stress response lies between ‘no stress’ and ‘chronic stress’. Your value is in the favourable range — your body is coping well with current stress. The assessment is always made in the context of the other markers.

Part of the let-7 family; regulates inflammatory signalling pathways and is involved in stress and immune processes. The more favourable of the two values.
Regulates inflammatory and metabolic processes that influence systemic homeostasis. Markedly weaker than the acute indicator.
What matters here
The two individual indicators diverge widely: acute 7/9, chronic 4/9. The acute stress response is working; the chronic level is the weaker of the two.

Calculated from four microRNAs: miR-16-5p, miR-15a-5p, miR-106b-5p and miR-21-5p.
The evaluation does not yet show any acute stress-related overload. The risk of secondary conditions is, however, already elevated — it is worth acting here before long-term effects become manifest. This is the focus of your report.

What the trend shows
The two evaluations are moving in opposite directions: the current stress level has improved from 6 to 7 and is now in the green range. The value for long-term effects has fallen from 5 to 4 over the same period — and because a higher value here means a lower risk, this means the risk has increased.
Summary
Your current stress level is good — and that is precisely the point at which this report pushes back: the level that has deteriorated is the one you cannot feel.
At 3/9, the immune signal activating indicator is the weakest value in the report and feeds into the risk of long-term effects. Four of the eleven recommendations target it: resveratrol, berberine, butyrate and omega-3. In concrete terms: at least 30 g of fibre daily for butyrate formation in the gut, 250–500 mg of omega-3 from oily fish, walnuts or algal oil, plus berries for resveratrol.
At 4/9, the chronic stress indicator lies well below the acute one (7/9) — even though the evaluation as a whole is in the green range. The report does not show which of the two indicators carried the improvement from 6 to 7. Quercetin, EGCG, oleuropein and resveratrol act on the chronic level. The preparation notes differ from compound to compound — details in the table on page 06.
Maintain
miR-21-5p (8/9) and let-7a-5p (7/9) are the two strongest values — cellular protective mechanisms and the acute stress response are working well. Curcumin, gingerol and sulforaphane serve to maintain here, not to correct.
